My Story
When I turned 50, I chose to get a small semi-colon tattooed on the inside of my wrist. For me, it’s a quiet symbol of choosing life, holding onto hope, and finding strength. It reminds me of Sam’s words to Frodo in The Two Towers: “There’s some good in this world, and it’s worth fighting for.”
My personal story, and the symbol of the semicolon, became the foundation of The Story Isn’t Over. The clinic evolved out of my unwavering belief in the power of hope, in the midst of seeming hopelessness, and a heartfelt dedication to creating a lasting, positive impact in the lives of those we support.
At The Story Isn’t Over, we understand the resilience it takes to navigate life’s toughest challenges. The semi-colon in our name symbolizes not just a pause, but a continuation — the belief that even when the road is difficult, there is hope.
