When you’re not in a good place, stressed, anxious or down it can be difficult to cope and difficult to know what to do next to get better.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and offer therapy sessions to teens, adults, couples and provide my clients with a safe and non-judgmental space to share their story. My approach includes understanding what you are going through and creating a treatment plan with you. I will work with you to find healing and hope.
Coming from a person-centered approach, I tailor my needs to the client and use a variety of modalities including, but not limited to CBT, DBT, EFT, Narrative Therapy, and Sex Therapy Approaches. Growing up in a minority population, I can offer a multicultural perspective and am well placed to understand how culture can affect the way we deal with our Mental Health.
I completed my Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, specializing in Biology, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
I have worked with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and have also worked with adults with various developmental disabilities. My passion also lies in conducting research for vulnerable populations, as I collaborate with other health professionals within the field of research.
I work with individuals who have learning disabilities, depression, or anxiety symptoms, family challenges, trauma, identity conflict, and sexual situations including intimacy, trauma, and the process of healing.
