Grace Wang

I am an Art Therapist Intern at The Story Isn’t Over. I use art to facilitate self-discovery, healing, and wholeness. I believe art is a way of expressing ourselves and a way of processing our painful thoughts and emotions to find healing. Art is a way of tapping into our inner self to explore our internal thoughts and feelings. It opens avenues for self-discovery and empowers personal growth. In therapy, this dynamic process can help you to look within, reflect, and start to move towards change, healing, and growth.

I will work with you to create a safe place, where you feel accepted and are able to explore what is troubling you, develop a deeper understanding of yourself and find hope through the transformative power of art.

I have a passion for supporting children and teens experiencing a range of different struggles, included but not limited to those how are finding it difficult to regulate their emotions and/or behaviour, loneliness, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, changes happening in the family. I integrate a number of different therapeutic modalities in my practice and tailor every session to meet your individual needs, and the style of therapy that you find most helpful.

I am currently enrolled in the art therapy program at Toronto Art Therapy Institute. I have an BA Hons. in Illustration from Sheridan College. I speak English and Mandarin.
