I am a Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying with the Ontario College of Psychotherapists and Accredited Music Therapist (MTA) with the Canadian Association of Music Therapy. I have a master’s degree in Music Psychotherapy at Wilfred Laurier University in Canada.
I am passionate about supporting and empowering individuals on their journey to healing and well-being by focusing on the power of the music experience. I provide individual and group music psychotherapy services for individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, learning disabilities, autism domestic abuse and eating disorders. In my work I use music experiences in addition to the traditional types of verbal communication.
We typically think of music as entertaining or fun. While this is true there are many other reasons why music can be therapeutic. No matter how young a person is, what language they speak, or if they can speak at all, music can help children communicate without words! Music can adapt to whatever the child is experiencing and is especially good at helping kids express their feelings.
I offer services in English, Hebrew and Russian. If you would like to connect, please feel free to get in touch by email or phone.
