Alma has been practicing for many years and has a wide range of training and experience. She is committed to helping people overcome addictions to alcohol and drugs, eating disorders, depression, anxiety and other mental health diagnoses. Alma other passion and area of expertise is working with children (5+) and their families to navigate through challenging life situations such as divorce, co-parenting, self-esteem issues, forming healthy relationships, family issues and life transitions.

Bud is a completing his practicum placement at The Story Isn’t Over. Bud has worked in the corporate and business world for many years, and brings a wealth of life experience to his therapeutic practice. He has a particular interest in the way our thoughts influence our behaviours, and works with client’s thoughts and behaviours to help them address the troubling issues that bring them to therapy.

Bud has a B.A. (Hons) in Psychology from York University and is currently a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology candidate through Yorkville University.

Delanie is a completing her practicum placement at The Story Isn’t Over. Delanie has extensive training and experience working as a counsellor in education and prior to joining The Story Isn’t Over was working as The Head of Guidance and Student Success in the School Board, before transitioning to private psychotherapy. She brings a wealth of professional experience and skills working with teens, adults and families.

Delanie has a B.A. from McMaster University, a B.Ed. from York University, a M.Ed. from York University in Psychology from York University and is currently a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology candidate through Yorkville University.

Jenn

Jenn specializes in working with children, using arts and crafts, to set them up for success, give them the tools they need to survive, and help them through the rough spots that come. Jenn also works with adults and families.

Jennifer is a Registered Art Psychotherapist (CRPO) who specializes in supporting people of all ages through the use of art, play and creativity. Through these methods, Jennifer has helped people learn new skills, adopt new ways of coping, and gained increased ways of emotional expression. Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Fine Art from Ryerson University and went on to complete her training in Art Therapy at the Toronto Art Therapy Institute. She is a Clinical Traumatologist (Traumatology Institute), a Level 1 Reiki practitioner, and a Professional Member with the Ontario Art Therapy Association. Jennifer provides services in English.

Rosita is a completing her practicum placement at The Story Isn’t Over. Rosita completed 2 years of medical training before deciding that her interests lay in the psychological wellbeing of her clients and in psychotherapy, rather than medicine. She offers an open and curious mind, as well as gentle and compassionate soul, that enriches the lives of the clients she works with.

Rosita has a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Life Sciences (Psychology stream) from McMaster University, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Research from Michener Institute. She also completed two years of basic sciences towards a medical degree before deciding her interests lay in psychotherapy rather than in medicine.

Tiffany specializes in using art to help those of all ages, overcome any obstacles they face and reach their full potential.

Tiffany is a Registered Art Psychotherapist (Qualifying), having completed her MSc in Art Psychotherapy at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. She uses glue, glitter, and paints, of every color imaginable, to facilitate healing, for the very young – through to the very old. She is excellent with children, and has experience working with children who have experienced loss, death, and illness, as well as children, whose parents are separating or divorced. Tiffany speaks English.

Trish specializes in couples counselling and family therapy. 

Trish is a Registered Psychotherapist. She has a PhD in Theology from Edinburgh University in Scotland, and extensive post-graduate training in Marriage and Family Counselling; including advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), for individuals, couples, and families, at York University, under Professor Les Greenberg. Trish has a passion for working with, couples, and families, who are experiencing common relationship issues, such as anger, resentment, betrayal, disengagement, difficulty adapting to change, or difficulty agreeing on major life decisions. Trish is the founder and clinical director of The Story Isn’t Over Inc. Trish speaks English.
